Notes MilestoneThis Saturday was a milestone for me - I weighed in at 137. My high school driver’s license was 135 lbs. It’s hard to believe that just 6 weeks ago, I was averaging 152-157. I have to say, my Mom and Cousin Meg were my inspiration. Their motivation and hard work FINALLY became contagious, and I decided to jump on the healthy wagon. I’m proud to say my Mom has lost an incredible amount of weight on the Ideal Protein diet and she looks incredible. I love seeing her happy, proud and confident; she deserves it! Meg, well, she’s lost over 50 pounds just kicking her own ass in the gym, and making smart choices – no fad diets. AMAZING.
This weekend, for the first time in a long time, I felt truly comfortable, and confident. I really don’t remember the last time I felt that way. It feels soooo good. It feels good enough to encourage me to keep going, continue my inspiration, and stay healthy.
I had my first wedding dress fitting last Thursday, and the seamstress insisted that I not lose more than another 5 lbs before the wedding. She’s already taking it in 2 ½ inches on each side of my bust, 1 ½ inches each side of my waist, and 1 inch on my hips. I guess that’s a good problem to have.
